Terms & Conditions
Please review the terms for using our website and mobile RV repair services.
Last Updated: June 26, 2026
These Terms & Conditions explain the service expectations, estimates, payment terms, warranty information, scheduling policies, customer authorization, liability limits, and website use terms for Alex the RV Guy. By using our website or scheduling a service appointment, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Mobile Service Disclaimer
We are a mobile RV repair service, which means we come to your home, campground, storage location, or other service location to complete repairs when possible. We provide RV repair, maintenance, mechanic, inspection, and diagnostic services throughout Parker County and surrounding counties. To help us work safely and efficiently, please make sure we have safe, clear access to your RV, adequate space to work, pets secured, and a safe environment free of hazards.
Scope of work
We provide repair, maintenance, inspection, mechanic, and diagnostic services for a wide range of RV systems and components, including air conditioning and climate control systems, electrical systems, roof leaks, exterior components, sealants, plumbing systems, holding tanks, slide-outs, awnings, leveling systems, appliances, batteries, converters, inverters, chassis, engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, wheel bearings, tires, pre-purchase inspections, and RV orientation walkthroughs.
Our services may also include propane and LP-Gas system inspections, diagnostics, and repairs, furnaces, water heaters, refrigerators, other propane appliances, body work, general troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and assistance with insurance-related repairs or claims. All propane and LP-Gas services are performed in accordance with applicable licensing and safety requirements, including Texas Railroad Commission requirements when applicable.
Estimates & Pricing
Estimates are based on the information available at the time they are provided and may change if additional issues are found during diagnosis or repair. We will review pricing with you before work begins so you know what to expect. A service call fee applies to each appointment. If additional parts or labor are needed, or if diagnosis reveals other issues, we will discuss them with you before moving forward.
Customers may provide their own parts, or we can order parts when needed. Special-order parts may be nonrefundable. Part availability and shipping delays are outside our control and may affect scheduling or completion times.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. For your convenience, we accept cash, check, Cash App, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, and credit cards. Parts, materials, special orders, or deposits may be required before certain repairs or services are scheduled or completed.
Warranty
We stand behind our workmanship. If a problem arises because of a repair we completed, please let us know and we will work to resolve it within a reasonable timeframe.
Our workmanship warranty applies only to the labor we perform. Manufacturer warranties on parts apply only to those parts and are subject to the manufacturer’s own terms.
Our workmanship warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, pre-existing conditions, unrelated failures, customer misuse, improper maintenance, manufacturer defects, or failures of components that were not repaired or replaced by us. Because many mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic issues involve interconnected systems, repairs to one component do not guarantee that other related components will not fail in the future.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that schedules can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. Missed appointments, late cancellations, or unavailable service locations may result in a service call fee or rescheduling delay. Weather, road conditions, parts availability, emergencies, or unsafe work conditions may also require us to reschedule service.
Customer Authorization
By scheduling service, you confirm that you are the owner of the RV or are authorized to approve diagnostics and repairs. You authorize Alex the RV Guy to perform approved diagnostic and repair work, and you understand that any additional work will be discussed with you and approved before we proceed. When reasonably necessary, you also authorize us to operate, move, or road test your RV to diagnose, verify, or complete approved repairs.
Limitation of Liability
While we do our best to identify and repair issues carefully, Alex the RV Guy is not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects or conditions not visible during inspection, damage from prior repairs performed by others, improper maintenance, neglect, misuse, accidents, road hazards, environmental conditions, failures of components not repaired or replaced by us, or delays caused by parts availability, shipping issues, weather, or circumstances beyond our control.
Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service provided.
